Landscape Laborer
You will work outside year-round during the landscape and snow season. During landscape season duties include laying sod, mowing lawns, using a line trimmer, using a leaf blower, digging, trimming, mulching, planting flowers, fertilizing, and raking. Snow season includes clearing snow using snowblowers, shovels, and ice melting products.
Keeping Things Fresh
Waterer
Responsibilities include filling and driving a truck with water tank. Watering planters along busy city streets.
YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.
responsibilities
- Use all lawn equipment including walk behind mowers, rideon mowers, hand tools such as rakes, shovels, handsaws, brooms. Power tools such as chainsaws, gas blowers, weed trimmers, and snow blowers.
- Help maintain, water, mow, trim, pick weeds, pick up trash, haul and spread topsoil, mulch, and compost, install plant material, sod, etc.
- Work safely and maintain all equipment.
- Always follow workplace procedures and safety proceduresput in place and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Always interact with coworkers and clients in a professional and respectful manner.
- Water lawns, plants, and trees landscapes using hoses,sprinklers, or watering trucks.
- Shovel snow from walkways, parking lots, driveways, and spread ice melting products.
- Report any injuries immediately.
Knowledge & skills
- Use power tools such as weed trimmers, electric clippers, chain saw, leaf blower, push and riding lawn mowers.
- Use hand tools such as rakes, shovels, brooms, and hand saws.
- Be dependable careful, and alert.
- Be willing to learn new skills and work as a team.
